First you never will get leads from yellow pages if you aren't

-Found
-Noticed
-and Chosen

which requires an investment.

Maybe if you would have been easy to find, maybe more people would have found you. It's all about advertising in the correct print yellow pages with those big companies that will survive. Those companies are the ones putting google ad campaigns together and putting an estimated number of leads guaranteed through that in addition to their print pages. The real leaders in the market will remain leaders. The best piece of advice is you have to spend money to make money...I don't know what type of business you are in but whatever it is could grow with yellow pages...if you want to grow.

I've had a lot of local clients lately due to them cutting budgets with this kind of advertising. However, if you take a peek at the Yellow Pages website's Alexa it's showing growth!

I have cut back completely on my yellow pages advertising. I only allow just a one line listing. In the last two years, I have only had one client contact me via yellow pages. For me, it's far better to invest my marketing/advertising dollars on relevant opportunities. Even as a consumer, I just don't do business with someone if I can't get contact info through Google.
